This grape variety could well be known as the Sauvignon Blanc of England! An elegant nose of grapefruits, passion fruits and floral characters. Tropical fruits backed with a clean crisp finish on the palate.
Bacchus is the still white wine variety that has caught the imagination in England, with the best of them highly respected for their quality. Norfolk, and East Anglia as a whole, has become known for its delicious Bacchus.
Winemaker Lee Dyer says “I think Bacchus has to be the jewel in the crown and, more importantly, for my site as it just works so well here. The flavour profiles and aromas we can achieve here from our vines are second to none.”
