A rare English Chardonnay, matured for a year in our large oak casks and made from the best parts of the 2016 and 2017 harvests. The wine is light and dry with aromas typical of chardonnay (apples, lime) and a very subtle touch of oak on the palate. A blend of 2014 and 2015 wines, both excellent harvests. We can only make this wine in the best years.
The wine has been made with very little intervention in the winery and was bottled without filtration.
There are some tartrate crystals in the bottle, a sign of the natural winemaking methods.
Food Pairing: Ideal with food, especially white meat and fish.
